This is an excellent book for entrepreneurs. eBay is the future and everyone seems to miss the fact that you can sell just about anything online. I’m made a lot of money selling on ebay and this book is right on target. Another book called Stop Working by Rohan Hall is also excellent for home based entrepreneurs that want to sell to the global market. I recommend both books highly.

Having never used eBay before, I found this book to be a breath of fresh air. It was simple, easy and most importantly FUN to read. Business “how-to” books can be dry and boring…most lose me within the first 2 chapters.

I literally sat down in front of the computer, created a sellers account and put my first item up for sale on eBay – all while using this book as my reference guide.

This is a great book. The author does provide additional resource tools – some developed by himself and some developed by others – which were very helpful.

I can’t comment on the “advanced” level of the book, but for someone just starting out this was exactly what I needed!

My neighbor suggested this book to me since she knows how much I like buying on eBay. Based on my friend’s enthusiasm about the book, I picked up a copy.

I must admit that I found the information within Ginsberg’s book compelling. As a buyer, I had never sold anything on eBay. I had found the whole “selling on eBay” thing as very intimidating – even though selling on eBay has been a frequest conversation topic in our house.

This book is easy and simple to read and provided me with a step by step plan to get started selling on eBay. I found the techniques helpful and useful and I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to increase their sales on eBay.

I have been buying from eBay for years and I have really enjoyed. I’ve never had a bad experience. I always wondered what it would be like to ‘sell’ as well. This book was recommended to me by a fantastic marketer called Bill Glazer. I have a lot of respect for him. Anyway I bought the book as Bill advised and it’s really great. It gives fantastic advice on how to get started fast. It really would drive you to ACTION. A few days after reading it I sold my first product.Adam lay’s out everything very clearly.

I followed Adam’s advice and started selling things lying around the house and up in the attic. My son Neil ‘tied’ down his two fairly large fish tanks incase I sold them as well.;-)

I’ve now progressed to selling three products and the tests are proving very positive. This book will really get you fired up and you will be very enthusiastic after reading it. After reading the I really believe it is possible to start a business on eBay and make serious money. Adam also gives you great help besides the book. He has a serious website with tons of information on it. You get a load of free information when you buy the book.

    Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is a great for getting started on eBay. It’s easy to read and has great suggestions on how to list our items. I started selling some things I have around the house and making some money!! Nothing huge but this stuff is essencially free for me. It is surprizing what someone will pay for things. I just followed what he says in his book.

The downside of the book is that he promotes his own eBay listing products. He mentions that his isn’t the only one out there… remember that. It’s an infinite internet world out there and there are more people/companies offering the same thing. Just do your research.

He is honest and gives great suggestions. It’s easy to read and inspiring. It’s great for people who want to try selling on eBay but just didn’t have the guts to try. This will get you going…

For those who are already selling on eBay… I think there are great suggestions and insight you can pick up from this book too.

    Happy eBaying…

I’ve been trading on eBay for almost 3 years. This is by far, the best book about eBay that I have ever read. It’s heads and shoulders above the rest for several reasons:

    1. The format is conversational and is easy to read. I finished the entire book in less than 2 days.

    2. Through the author’s experience I learned insight and understanding about eBay basic and advanced selling techniques.

    3. I learned selling philosphies that have already positively impacted my sales. This book has paid for itself many times over in just a few short weeks since implementing the strategies.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn more about eBay and about business in general. The eBay tax savings strategies was a great bonus! Go out and get this book today!

I’ve been selling on eBay for sometime (4 1/2 years) and found this book to be refreshing. I believe that big league success comes from having a big league coach. And, I believe this book should be a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to sell on eBay!

I’ve been a member of Ebay for 7 years. During that time I’ve bought more than I’ve sold there – but learned a lot through the entire process. Adam’s book has given me the motivation to seriously start thinking I can eventually quit my sucky daytime job and maybe go into business on Ebay full-time. And, as Adam correctly points out, you don’t have to immediately quit your day job to get started and found out if such a move is really for you. Experiment with his strategies, sell a few items and see what happens.

Adam also smartly addresses the ubiquitous question every potential Ebay entrepreneur asks, “What in the world DO I sell on Ebay?” Let’s just say that Adam gives a pretty convincing evidence that you could sell something like used popsicle sticks on Ebay – if you know how to structure your ad and overall Ebay business the right way. More importantly, he demonstrates that if you change your thinking on what to sell – you begin to see a whole new world of opportunity on saleable items.

Adam’s approach is gripping – I nearly finished the book the day I received it – because you feel like that even though it’s obvious he’s no dummy when it comes to business – he readily admits his weaknesses that obviously affect his early business acumen on Ebay. Yet he’s willing to learn, adjust as a result, and finally improve whatever Ebay task he is doing – something that certainly changed the scope of his auction operation – and a path that any Ebayer interested in boosting his business can perform. Adam sprinkles his Ebay ventures with touchy-feely stories about family, friends, and life in general. One really feels he’s just your average, nice, family guy who just so happens to discover Ebay – then distinguish himself from every other Tom, Dick, and Harry selling there – to create a multimillion dollar business.

After reading Adam’s book I’m more convinced than ever that I too, can do the same.

As the CEO of a small 4 person start up, I was referred to this book by a friend (and avid eBay seller). Although I was highly skeptical, I purchased on the book Amazon and awaited for it to arrive. It arrived on a tuesday afternoon. The next day, read on the train to and from work. I was done by the time my train arrived home at the end of the day.

I am so glad I made the decision to take my friend’s advice.

Adam Ginsberg spends the book using stories and analogies that are so easy to understand and relate to. He gives you examples of why you might be overwhelmed at first – and then outlines how to overcome any initial obstacles you might have.

This book contains 100% actionable, specific and flexible step-by-step processes for building a personal ebay success system. It isn’t hard to do – I got mine up ang going in two days. I learned how to incorporate eBay into the success of my start up company and the results have been phenomenal.

With the help of my small staff, we’re now making over $3,000 per week on eBay. I’m a better leader and my staff truly understands what they need to do on a daily basis for their success within our organization.

If you’re reading this review because you’re wondering if this book might be worth the time, let me encourage you to get it – regardless if you’re new to eBay or a seasoned Powerseller…this is the best eBay book I have every read.

In case you’re wondering, I purchased a copy for every one of my employees, and I will be insisting that new hires start their careers with my firm by first reading this book and setting up their own personal ebay user ID based on the teachings of this book. That’s how good it is.

Be sure to keep a pad of paper handy while you read! By the time I finished, I had pages of thoughts and ideas (and lists of products to sell) that I wanted to put into action to help my eBay venture grow!

It makes such sense – I know it will influence how we run our business forever! Great book!!
