This is a beautiful case for my Kindle 2. It’s a perfect fit….looks and feels like real leather. It has pockets inside. It does add a little weight to the Kindle 2, but it add SUPER protection!

I love my M-edge jacket!! The hinges fit perfectly into the slots in the new Kindle and the elastic corner retainers keep it from flapping around. There is an inch of so of extra space in the binding where the light would go; however, it doesn’t bother me at all during transportation or reading.
I love the little pockets on the front cover too! During travel, i put my plane tickets, ID card and CC in there so that i am not constantly going into by carryon or purse…
Overall GREAT product.

When I had the Kindle 1 I had the real leather cover. I really didn’t feel like investing as much in the cover so I bought this one. I looks almost the same. It is so nice to hold while you are reading a book!

I am very pleased with this case. It looks great–very stylish and feels like leather. It fits my Kindle2 perfectly. The wide edge on the left side is a bit annoying, but since I’ll probably buy the light soon I don’t mind it. Some reviewers have commented that the edge makes it hard to reach the buttons, but I have very small hands and have no problem with this. I feel much safer carrying my Kindle around in this case–it is better protected, and since it looks like a daytimer I don’t worry as much about anyone stealing it.

Went to this cover after using the Amazon Kindle cover for many months. I like the feel of this “synthetic” leather MUCH better than the “pebbled” feel of the Amazon cover. I also like that it has the additional corner straps for the right side to help keep it secured to the back cover. I read with the Kindle in the cover and fold over the front flap to use one handed. It is a bit bulkier than the Amazon cover when doing that but still works fine for me.
The extra space at the binding doesn’t bother me as I knew I was getting the M-edge booklight to go with this. However I had the cover about a week before the light came and it still didn’t bother me. In fact at times when I folded the front cover back I used this area as sort of a handle.
The cover looks good and feels good. It makes me feel more secure about the Kindle in it because the strap on the open end keeps it closed and perhaps more protected. I also admit I like that it does NOT say Amazon on the cover as my old one did, just because it makes it look less like a Kindle when closed and perhaps less attractive to a thief – although I don’t plan on leaving it laying on a chair in an airport or anything, I just like the look better.

I liked the fact that you can secure the cover closed. I think it adds to the protection of the Kindle. The way it attaches is also convenient. The most important thing is that it protects your investment.

I spent some time researching and thinking over which kind of case and light I thought would be best for me. I chose this one – along with the m-edge light to go with it. I’m so happy I did! Absolutely love the cover. It’s very easy and comfortable to use. Keeps my K2 protected while on the go and has held up well over the last month that I’ve been using it.
I fold the front cover back and slip the tab into the slot on the front cover – just as you would while it’s closed. It keeps the tab out of the way and gives me a ‘ledge’ to hold on to – if I want to switch hands, I just thumb the light up out of the way if I’m not using it.
The little pockets on the inside are great for small flat things. I have been afraid to stick anything like a credit card or ID in there for fear of it scratching the screen.
Overall it’s great and I highly recommend it!

I really like the M-Edge Prodigy Jacket, this is my second one I purchased. I had purchased in Blue Pebble Leather and I wanted a red one also. I like how it holds the Kindle very secure and easy to handle while reading. I also purchased the M-Edge e-Luminator Booklight and it fits perfect and works great.

Overall the cover is the perfect combination of beauty and functionality with a seperately purchased e-luminator 2 light.
This cover holds my Kindle extremely securely with the added convenience of having my night time reading light handy at all times, without being obtrusive when it’s not needed. It folds completely back on itself for single handed holding or propping it against a pillow or easel for ultimate reading comfort.

This cover is well constructed and provides a safe and cozy home for my Kindle. The hinges keep it secure, the pockets provide a place to keep notes and the mini users manual and it opens like a book so it ‘feels’ like reading a dead tree book…but better
