This is the third (and last) cover that I’ve bought for my Kindle 2. And I have to say that I LOVE IT! It’s compact and to the point. The Kindle “locks” into it very securely, and it folds back completely for easy reading. Added bonus is it’s super cute. A really wonderful compact cover.

I got my cover last night and am delighted with it:
* The leather is a nice quality (particularly for the price) and the product seems very sturdy.
* The contrasting edge stitching is nicely done.
* The lining is nice to the touch.
* It took me a minute to figure out that the top clip on the left hand side moves so you can insert or remove your Kindle – other than that, no problems.
* The bands on the outside edge are elastic with coordinating leather on the part that actually goes across the top of the Kindle. They slide off easily when pushed, but the clips on the inside keep the Kindle from moving around, or slipping out if those straps are off.
*All of the buttons and jacks are easily accessible.
Wish it were available in jade green like some of the other M-Edge covers, but that’s my only wish.

I am switching from the Amazon cover to this M-Edge Go Jacket. I love it! The color is lighter than it looks on the computer, but it’s a gorgeous color of purple. It functions just like the Amazon cover, but with the added bonus of the straps on the right side to hold the Kindle securely. With the Amazon cover, I was always worried about it breaking loose. I highly recommend this cover. The only thing I miss is the little plaque on the front that says Amazon Kindle, but I understand you can’t have everything.
Side note: a friend has the black cover, and it is also beautiful. Much prettier than the black Amazon cover which is a dull black.

I got my cover a couple of days ago and I must say I love it. It is very nice and sturdy. My kindle is secure in this cover with the metal hooks on the side that secure the kindle into place and I also like the two loops that secure the kindle in the outer corners . I love the color and the price! The stitching is nice and neat. I love the feel of the leather and the leather smell was not strong at all.I am very happy with this product and would recommend to all!

I received my case a few days ago, wanted to try it for a few days before reporting in though. VERY NICE!! The leather is a fine quality and the fit is quite nice as well. While it does add bulk, it isn’t so much as to be annoying. It fits well in my purse and I actually enjoy reading with the cover on, feels much more book like to me now!
Several of my co-workers commented that it looks like a very well bound book now instead of a device, though I’m fine with my Kindle 2 either way! 
I also received it a day after it shipped, even though it was with standard shipping. All in all, a great value on a very nice Kindle cover. Way to go M-edge!!!

I just got this today and am thrilled!! The quality is much better than expected, the photos don’t do it justice. My Kindle is firmly held in the case and very well protected. It is easily folded back so it doesn’t hinder my reading experience any. In my opinion this is a PERFECT basic cover that looks posh despite it’s simplicity.
The only “drawbacks” were: a slight odor on oppening the package, which did dissipate after an hour or so; and it is somewhat heavy. However I am still easily able to hold my Kindle one handed despite joint issues, so the weight is not a great one. The case feels very solid, and I would far rather have protection than a light-as-air case.
Giving this 5 stars because the negatives were negligible to me. Mentioning the negatives in case someone else might be bothered by them.
This gives your Kindle a nice bookish feeling and insures your investment won’t be damaged.

10 STARS This is a very good grade of leather and well made. The color is a rich mauve and much more elegant than “purple”. The inside is a soft gray suede that won’t scratch the screen. MINUS 2 Closed it will protect your Kindle in a fall but it could fly open. I’m putting a velcro clasp on mine. Two round dots of velcro on front and back, plus a bit of needle point ribbon and cover is secure.

I’ve had this cover for my Kindle for about two months now and am very satisfied with my purchase. I put off buying a cover for quite a while because none of the other covers seemed to fit my needs.
What I like about this cover:
1. When I read the Kindle, it feels like I’m reading a book – not too heavy, not too light.
2. Simple design with no “useless” extras – I don’t need a pocket on the inside cover or a place to stash a pen.
3. I like purple.
Thus far, I’ve experienced no downside like early wear and tear or having the cover cause damage to the Kindle. In my opinion, this was an excellent purchase.
