I wanted a cover for my Kindle, but wasn’t thrilled with the black kindle cover. I searched on Amazon and found quite a few covers, but didn’t want to spend close to $50 just for a case. Then I came across this cover. It is similar to the black cover that is offered from Amazon (the one on the Kindle page), but in more colors. It has the same hinge attachment, but also has two straps to hold the outer two corners of the Kindle in place (for added security).
Another thing to note is that the color of the case is alittle bit darker than it shows on the picture. I was going back and forth if I should order this color because it looked so light in the picture and I was worried about it getting dirty. I’m so glad I ordered the Fushia!!

My wife loves this cover, the color is great. The cover provides good protection for your kindle. Be aware if you get your kindle first and then order the cover later, it will make your kindle feel heavy. My wife was skeptical when she first put it on, but now loves the color and the fact that she can hold the kindle just like a book now.

I love this product! No annoying tag on the side. Just lock it in the center hooks, fold back an read. I don’t use the elastic bands. Too bad I can’t use the light that I purchased for the Kindle 1 jacket. No great loss.

The only time I have free for myself is right before I go to sleep. I find that reading always helps me drift off to sleep. I read my Kindle laying in bed. Since I bought this cover, I can settle my Kindle on my chest and hold it like a ‘real’ book.
Also, love the fushia color.

I previously had the sapphire blue K2 Platform cover. I loved the color, and liked the security and protection of it, but it was just too big and heavy and bulky to tote around in my purse. Plus it made my K2 feel like it was big and heavy and bulky. I told myself I wasnt going to collect 3 or 4 K2 cases, and have a bunch of money tied up in things I wouldnt use; if I sold it on Craigslist I could get a different one. Luckily, I sold it in 3 days! So after reading others’ reviews, (thank you thank you) I decided to try the Go! jacket. It is perfect for my needs. It’s smaller than the Platform, and feels much lighter (altho I think it’s only a few ozs different) and just feels all around more compact to me. I was worried about getting the pink, I didnt want it to be teenager bright (since I’m 50 and want to be age appropriate:) but it’s a really pretty rich warm color pink, not shiny and not neon. It’s a pebbled texture. I also like the fact that there’s no strap or flap to deal with like there was on the platform. I am pleased to say this is my LAST K2 jacket!

I ordered my K2 on July 2. When I ordered it I also ordered the M-Edge Go in Fuchsia. I have to say I love the color. It’s also very sturdy. I’ve read the K2 both in and out of the jacket. But I much prefer it when it’s locked inside it. The K2 is a little slick if you’re holding it and for me would be much easier to drop. But in the jacket it’s great.

I love my Kindle, but without this jacket it feels a little like reading a giant iPod. The jacket holds my Kindle securely, and I don’t have to worry about scratching the screen. Money well spent.

My plan was to order my Kindle2 and a jacket simultaneously, but I didn’t want the black one that Amazon offered because it was too masculine looking. Then I saw the M-Edge ads in a NYC subway and was thrilled to find it offered in Amazon with a $10 discount! I wasn’t sure about the fuchsia color, but when it arrived it was absolutely beautiful. It’s great to the touch, the clips keep my Kindle secure, it’s sturdy, elegant, and it’s really easy to carry in my bag. I get a lot of compliments, it’s really very chic. I purchased one of these for my kindle several months ago and I love it. Now I’m getting another one for a friend as a Christmas gift. I was a little concerned when I read reviews that said it can cause the Kindle to crack – that has not happened with mine, but I’m very careful to use the elastic holders on the edges, in addition to the hinges.
I did check with M-Edge to get their comments on the cracking / hinge issue before I ordered my second one. This was their response:
“Thank you for your continued interest in our products! When used properly, our jackets will not cause any damage to your Kindle. The few times we have had customers claim that their device just cracked, when we received the jacket back the hinge tabs were bent and twisted completely out of shape. The only way that this can happen is if the Kindle is pulled firmly away from the back cover while the hinge tabs are inserted in the device. If you always use the two stretchy corner straps on the right-hand corners you should never have this problem.”
Based on this, I went ahead and ordered my second cover, and will be sure to tell the recipient to use the stretchy corner straps.
