Do you want to read a suspenseful page-turner? DiAnn Mills’ Breach of Trust is it. Conflict and tension arise on every page.

Paige Rogers, a former CIA operative, has hidden her identity to protect her family. Her quiet life as a librarian in a small town has been her refuge. She is threatened to come out in the open or else. Her parents believe she died seven years ago. Her new found friends and boyfriend may find out she has deceived them all these years. Will they be able to forgive her if they do? Or is any of them a mole for the culprit? Lives are on the line if she doesn’t “give in” to the blackmail of her former partner, who has betrayed once her before. But does she want to trade her loved ones and her soul to the enemy? Can she save her friends, family and her own life? Or will she lose everything trying?

If you like romance, suspense and danger wrapped into one book, you will love DiAnn Mill’s Breach of Trust.

Who is Paige Rogers and what is she hiding? The sweet librarian with a generous heart and a talent for baking has said no to Miles Laird’s flirting for some time, and he can’t figure out why.

Gubernatorial candidate Dennis Keary has started harassing Paige after several years of leaving her alone. Why is he suddenly interested in her help with his campaign?

A few of Paige’s secrets are threatening to surface, and she must do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening. She can’t allow anyone to help her since she can’t bear to see her friends get hurt. And she knows they will get hurt if they become entangled in the mess she’s in. In the beginning, her life as the small-town librarian is uneventful. Then something happens to allow Miles into her private nightmare. She’s ex-CIA and always on the lookout for clues that her former life has caught up with her.

DiAnn Mills has outdone herself. This is her best book yet. I enjoyed the suspense and the questions that kept coming up. This book kept me happily involved in the twists and turns until the end.

Fabulous. Absolutely love it. Best ever. This was a wonderful read. With my Alias addiction, this story felt familiar, yet was all at the same time unique and new. I am so pumped about this new Call of Duty Series from DiAnn Mills that I am extremely doubtful I will be able to stand the wait until 2010 for book #2.

We have action and adventure with tons of espionage. There are the CIA operatives, and counter-operatives. Good guys and bad. And then of course, there is the theme of how the everyday life works Jesus right in.

Fully a page turner, edge of your seat book. I could not find out what would happen next fast enough. I did see the bad guy early on, but I claim that to be my ultimate spy skills showing through. *grin*

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is good for anyone who enjoys shows such as Alias or 24, movies like Breach, Shooter, or others. If you read and enjoyed anything by Jill Elizabeth Nelson or Melanie Wells, you will absolutely LOVE this book and I am sure the entire series as well.

    Give me more!!!

I LOVED this book. It’s the first DiAnn Mills book that I’ve read, and certainly won’t be the last, as I plan on purchasing each book in this series. Paige Rogers retired from the CIA and went into hiding after she’d betrayed by her team leader on an overseas op. She’s trying to restructure her life and is making good progress when her old nemesis tracks her down and begins making trouble.

The action is fast, the plot isn’t predictable, the characters have much more depth than most suspense novels, and there’s a strong spiritual thread, as well. Oh, and did I mention a bit of a romance thread with a very cool hero who’s willing to wait as long as it takes for Paige to get her life figured out? Yep…you romance lovers won’t be disappointed, either. Did I mention I loved this book? Plenty of twists and turns to keep you moving through the pages. I found it very hard to put down!

When DiAnn Mills said to “expect an adventure,” she wasn’t lying. After reading several so so books I’ve read this month, I was really glad to finally read a book that kept me turning the page. I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and distinct voice of each of the characters and the plot kept me glued to the pages. Pacing was practically perfect as was the characterization and emotional/internal angst of the main characters. It’s rare that my inner editor doesn’t turn on and I get lost in the story, but Breach of Trust did that for me! Thanks DiAnn Mills, for the adventure!

A real page turner. This is my first DiAnn Mills book and I will definitely read more. Her characters stay in my mind, are believable, and the plot compelling. As a regular reader of mysteries, mostly British, I was delighted with this book.

Breach of Trust is a Christian romantic suspense novel. It is an excellent, pulse-pounding suspense novel with interesting characters.

The pacing and tension levels were excellent, drawing me to read on when I really should have been turning off the light to go to sleep. While there was tension from several fronts (like her growing relationship with Miles, the local high school football coach, and the conflicts he had to deal with), the main tension was between Paige and Keary.

The characters were all interesting, varied, and engaging. They acted in realistic ways. To me, the heroine felt distant at times. While it was in-character for her to hold people at arm’s length, it also meant I didn’t bond to her struggles–mainly the romantic ones–as much as I might have. But this may have just been me.

Both Paige and Miles are Christians who live out their faith. In this book, Paige struggles with how to reconcile her Christian principles with the deception required in her current circumstances.

Paige’s reasons for not immediately dating Miles were valid and came from past betrayals as well as the constraints of her current circumstances. However, I was never really in doubt about their future together considering how the hero was introduced.

The world-building details were good. There was no sex. I don’t recall any cussing. Overall, it was good, clean fun.

I have taken writing classes from DiAnn Mills and this book is a testimony to her great teaching. She practices what she preaches.

The story deals with a dilemma many Christians face. Sometimes you have to do things you’ve been taught Christians don’t do. If you can do a greater good by acting and a greater harm by not acting, what do you do? Do you allow more people to be hurt? Possibly murdered? Paige Rogers faces just such a dilemma. This book fulfills DiAnne’s promise “Expect an Adventure.”

BREACH OF TURST by DiAnn Mills is an incredible page-turner. For those of you who like action and suspense along with your romance, this book is for you.

Paige Rogers, an ex-CIA operative, now lives as the Librarian in the small town of Split Creek, Oklahoma . . . but not by choice. Her choices were removed eight years ago by a mission gone wrong and an operative gone bad. Today, she does all she can to keep the regrets that haunt her at bay while carrying on a mild manner existence.

Miles Laird, football coach for the Split Creek Bobcats, knows there is more to Paige than meets the eye, and continues his plan to wear her down and make her admit she is as interested in him as he is in her.

When a stranger in town harasses Paige, she realizes the sleeping dog from her past has raised his ugly head again. Everyone around her will soon be a target unless she can smoke out her adversary and force him to make a wrong move. In the meantime, her heart is not cooperating. Her feelings for Miles run deep . . . deep enough to hurt him when he finds out the truth.

I can’t even begin to touch on all the twists and turns in BREACH OF TRUST. It is a captivating story with suspense, intrigue, romance, and a pulling at your heart at the decisions Paige must make to keep those she loves safe. I anxiously await BREACH OF SECURITY in the Spring of 2010.

Breach Of Trust was a everything that I expected from Dianne Mills. As a Christian author I knew that it would be cleanly written and would have a great plot to it. Having read books by Dianne Mills before I knew that this one should be as good as the others. Paige Rogers, a librarian is not who most people in the small town in Oklahoma think she is. A former CIA Agent she has now assumed a new identity and left her past behind. Or has she. When she sees a stranger in town she starts doing some checking and finds out all she needs to know. A former agent who she knows has committed murders and betrayed her is now running for Governor and wants Paige on his committee. Somehow she needs to stop him from winning even at the risk of her own life. In the middle of some life changing decisions can she keep her faith and know that God is with her. As a Christian sometimes we have to do things that we know are wrong and should not do. This is how Paige feels at the moment.

The characters are great. They all seem to blend together nicely. Nice blend of romance and suspense .If you are a Dianne Mills fan the n you won’t want to miss this newest “Call of Duty” series
