I suggest that you take an aptitude test. An aptitude test assesses your skills and your interests and matches you to the careers that are right for you. A high school or college adviser can recommend a good one. Failing that, go to the workforce development agency (unemployment) and request one. JobFit and Work Keys are excellent.

My wife over the past few weeks found herself unemployed so she used the chance to search for a change of career.
