I Hate To Sell-what Is A Good Career?

Posted by admin Comments (5)

I taught school for over 10 years, and have tried sales jobs. What is a career that does not involve sales, but I get to meet people?

My wife over the past few weeks found herself unemployed so she used the chance to search for a change of career. She was really stuck until she found the resource in the box below which gives instruction on how to decide upon a career. Now she is aware of where she’s going, and more importantly how to get there.

I suggest that you take an aptitude test. An aptitude test assesses your skills and your interests and matches you to the careers that are right for you. A high school or college adviser can recommend a good one. Failing that, go to the workforce development agency (unemployment) and request one. JobFit and Work Keys are excellent.
