  1. I was getting close to reading the book until I made the mistake of listening to the video clip. Its probably just me that gets agitated when there is a strong message focused on hawking a book rather than helping fellow salespeople.

This book is pretty depressing. It’s more like “the handbook for the desperate sales rep.” He’s actually a little behind the ball in his advice that does make sense (putting up a website) he talks about twitter and facebook as if we haven’t heard of it. His “novel” ideas are just absurd; Take out a billboard asking a specific person for a meeting? Wash a decision makers car for him? It’s just creepy and desparate. Just another example of a sales “author” trying to cash in on a down economy. Don’t do what he says, do what he does.

If you are targeting the person that uses a computer for EVERYTHING then this will be a help to you. As far as day to day one on one face to face sales it will be of little service.

  4. My name is Stage Hypnotist Simone. I recently attended Dave Lakhani’s event in Los Angeles where he taught the most powerful content on How to Sell When Nobody’s Buying to a group of a couple hundred people, including many famous writers, coaches, and self-development speakers.

What I learned from David so profoundly impacted my life that I have virtually refocused my entire marketing and business models. For example, David’s concepts about 45/15 and 20-call bursts that direct focus intense action have all but transformed my thinking about productivity. You work, uninterupted at a task for 45 minutes, then screw off for 15, blow spitballs, whatever.

What you can accomplish in 45 minutes can make you a fortune.

Trust me, David is the real deal.

Buy his book and buy it now!

One of the best books I’ve read for sales professionals. Ideas are fresh. Finally a book in which our electronic

communications environment is addressed head on! I would highly recommend Mr. Lakhani’s “How To Sell When Nobody’s Buying”.
